Meet the owners

Amy and Loren Beadle are long-time Wheaton, Illinois residents. They also live part-time on Kiawah Island in South Carolina.  In 2004, after 23 years in the retail consulting world, they retired from corporate life, and opened their first store, SeaCoast Sports and Outfitters. 

They now own and operate nine retail shops and restaurants in South Carolina and Illinois (three stores in Naperville), are proudly locally owned and operated, and try to feature local and regional products whenever possible. 

When not on Kiawah Island, Amy and Loren still spend time in Chicago, helping to run their businesses in Naperville, visiting their family, supporting a large charter school network in the inner-city, and enjoying the vast and amazing Chicago restaurant scene.  They also enjoy and collect wine, and spend 2-3 weeks each year in wine regions all over the world.
